This dynamic piano trio is dedicated to presenting a wide variety of classical music from the standard repertoire of the 18th-19th centuries to new works of our time. Their diverse interests range from performing all the small ensemble works of Beethoven to giving the premiere of Karl Kohn’s Trio 2K. The Mojave Trio – violinist Sara Parkins, cellist Margaret Parkins, and pianist Genevieve Feiwen Lee – performs regularly on the “Sundays Live” radio broadcast series at the Bing Theater of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Other southern California appearances include chamber music series at Pomona College, Scripps College, the University of California at Irvine, Occidental College, University of La Verne, Pasadena “Music at Noon”, Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Newport Beach Library.
